FedPro, originally founded as Federal Process, manufactured its first can of Gasoila® Pipe Thread Sealant in 1915. Small batches were made to meet the high quality standards set by our founders.

Those standards have not changed in 100 years. We still manufacture our chemicals in small batches so we can closely monitor the quality and reliability you've come to expect from FedPro.

Our brands have earned a reputation for being the products of choice in the petroleum, plumbing, LP Gas, HVAC, automotive, hardware, and general industrial markets.

1915

Founded in Cleveland, Ohio

Founded as Federal Process, its first product called Gasoila® Hard-Set Thread Sealant is launched. The Gasoila Chemicals division, now known as FedPro, is formed.

1976

Free All® Product Launch

Free All Deep Penetrating Oil is launched in the industrial market, quickly becoming the preferred penetrating oil for professionals looking to quickly loosen rusted nuts and bolts.

1994

Tub O' Towels® Product Launch

Tub O' Towels® Heavy Duty Cleaning Wipes are created to help plumbers remove sealant from their hands, tools and other surfaces. This special synergistic solution is the result of years of testing and trial to create the perfect formula for a heavy-duty cleaner in wipe format.

2009

Gasoila® Water Finding Paste Product Launch

Gasoila® All-Purpose Water Finding Paste, Regular Water Finding Paste, and Gas Gauging Paste are launched to help professionals detect water in fuel.

2011

Thred Taper™ Machine Product Launch

The world's only automatic PTFE tape wrapping solution, called the Thred Taper™. This innovative machine applies PTFE tape to most fittings in seconds, increasing productivity and component reliability while saving as much as 500 percent on tape consumption.

2012

Tub O' Towels® hits first Retail shelf

Tub O' Towels Heavy Duty Cleaning Wipes is added to its first retail shelf at Lowe's. Today, Tub O' Towels is in over 50,000 doors including big box stores, auto parts stores, hardware stores and specialty retailers.

2015

Tub O' Scrub™ Hand Cleaner Product Launch

Tub O' Scrub Heavy Duty Hand Cleaner, a hand cleaning lotion made with environmentally friendly walnut shells instead of traditional pumice, is launched.

2019

Gasoila® Chemicals Division Renamed FedPro™

As part of Federal Process Corporation's efforts to raise awareness to its family of brands, the Gasoila® division is renamed and relaunched under the name FedPro™.
